所谓地道程度，最重要的是两项：idioms 习语 & phrasal verbs 动词短语。经常看美剧的同学应该有感受，如果看字幕，可能每个词都认识，因为每个单词都不复杂，但是句子连起来就不一定认识了。这就是因为句子中加入了很多习语和动词短语。

动词短语就是由动词+介词and/or副词构成的一个短语，这个短语的意思有别于动词本身的基础含义。
比如:
I ran into my teacher at the movies last night.
run + into = meet
He ran away when he was 15.

= She looks like her mother, or She behaves like her mother.

= I know I can trust you, or I know I can believe you
写作讲究的是精准，我们应该用一个动词表达一个意思，因为这样没有歧义。但是口语中为了体现自然、地道的感觉，就要用动词短语替换掉这些单一动词。

He suddenly showed up.
"show up" 后面不能接宾语。
